Brand design
Whatever you need, I am here to help you create memorable logos that are tailored to you. I craft brandmarks and identities that drive success and am always constantly inspired by what I see around me.
My logo design process
Consultation period
We'll have an initial call
Before starting any project, or even agreeing to work together, I need to understand what it is that you want to achieve. This is so that we can get to know each other a little and identify the goals, complexities and processes involved.
I'll send you a quote
After the call, I'll send you a quote containing the brief, the details and the timeframe. Once you give me the green light with 50% up front we'll get started!
Design time
Step 1: brand nouns
You'll receive from me a questionnaire asking some further questions about your brand, competitors, what logos you've seen that you already like and goals. This gives us a point of reference for the project, to help keep us on the right path.
In this time, we will identify key brand nouns that decribe your brand and where you want it to be which will form the bedrock of the ideas.
Step 2: sketches & ideas
I like to start working on paper. It's quick and easy to identify which ideas are worth pursuing and which to discard - importantly it's an efficient way of making changes. Once I have 50-100 sketched ideas, I'll move on to the next step.
Step 3: vector brand marks
I will turn my best ideas into vectorised brand marks, in black and white so that we aren't influenced by the colours. A brand mark needs to be simple, memorable and work in a single colour to be really effective. I will present 9 of these to you so that we can pick 3 to build on.
Step 4: 3 brand systems
This is where the brands start to sparkle with colour and fonts! We will review 3 brand systems that I have put together and choose the one that aligns best with your company to continue working on. These systems include: brand marks, logo marks (in square and rectangular formats), badges and a mock up.
Step 5: design system iteration
Once we know which way to go, I'll use your feedback to continue working on this system.
Step 6: final delivery
Once you've signed off the designs we'll get organised and get your final files to you, along with any quotes that might be needed for your project to be fully completed. I get so much satisfaction from seeing ideas brought to life.

Giving an identity to Consciously Tech
