I built a new WordPress website for The Bread Basket Bakery. They already had a website but wanted to refresh its look and add e-commerce functionality in order to make them more efficient and increase their reach. This means that offices, cafes and restaurants that they already supplied could order through the website and provide a single dashboard for orders to the bakery.
The Bread Basket Bakery have been supplying kitchens and cafés in London for years, however taking orders by phone and email was very consuming in time and effort. We looked at the requirements before designing and expanded on the existing brand to create new elements and colour palette.
The end result looks fantastic and marries up with the brand and other designs in a consistent way (especially the packaging and labels that we designed). One element that I identified and used in a few places was the inverted corner radius from the packaging designs: using it for a font header style and as well as other elements on the site that needed to stand out but keep some character. I've added some screenshots to highlight these.
