I do user experience design — research, journey mapping, prototyping and usability testing. I come from a product design background and bake UX into every decision.
I work with small businesses across West and South-West London. Bespoke from the first wireframe, transparent on price, joined-up across the disciplines I deliver.
UX at every level
Here’s something nine years of running this studio has taught me that a decade of in-house product work never quite did: when you work on a big product with users already inside the system, it’s easy to believe UX stops at the interface — and that marketing, branding and being found are somebody else’s department. Then you work with real businesses of every size, from independently local to globally recognised, and you see the truth of it: user experience is about impact relative to the size of the business. For a product team, redesigning a button can be a whole feature. For an independent business, the button barely matters until the journey around it exists at all.
Which is why every service on this site is really the same discipline pointed at a different moment of your customer’s journey. Before anyone experiences your website they experience your brand — the UX of the first impression. Before that, they have to find you at all: search, AI answers and the map are the UX of being found. Ads and amplification are the UX of the first click. The website itself is the UX of deciding — that thirty-second window where trust is won or lost. And care and hosting are the UX of nothing ever breaking once it’s all working.
Different budgets buy different depth — a focused landing page and a full studio partnership are not the same investment — but they are the same thinking, applied at the level your business is at today. That’s the honest version of what UX means for a small business, and it’s the lens behind every recommendation I’ll ever make to you, including the recommendation to start smaller than you think.
